Agent Dave is the AI built into Payaca. He reads and changes your account data as the signed-in user, inside that user's permissions. Before any change he says what he is about to do and asks. He answers questions from your data, builds automations, edits templates, shapes fields and pipelines, and starts solar designs.

What can Dave do inside Payaca?

He answers questions from your account data with read-only analytics. He builds automations and creates them switched off for you to review. He edits and creates document and email templates and clones blueprints. He creates custom fields and fieldsets, adds and guards pipeline stages, restructures proposals, creates enquiry forms and events, and adjusts stock. He starts a roof analysis and creates a draft solar design and estimate. He can audit your account and implement the recommendations one at a time.

Can Dave send proposals or emails to my customers?

No. Every sending action is disabled for Dave. He drafts, builds and prepares. A person sends.

Can Dave run on a schedule or watch my account?

No. The only way Dave acts is a message from someone in your team. Work that should happen on a schedule is what automations are for, and Dave builds those for you.

Does Dave switch automations on?

Not existing ones. When he builds a new automation he creates it switched off for you to review, and creates it live only once you have seen the full configuration in the chat. Switching an existing automation on or off stays with you.

Is my data safe with Agent Dave?

Dave works inside Payaca's ISO 27001 certified infrastructure and inside the permissions of the person using him. He cannot reach data outside your account or do anything that user could not.

Who can use Dave?

Dave is included on every plan. Every role in Payaca can use him, inside that role's permissions.

Can I use Dave from outside Payaca?

Yes. The MCP server exposes the same tools to any AI assistant or agent framework that speaks MCP, with OAuth sign-in as you and the same permissions. MCP is a Growth plan permission.
