Field App notifications now take your technicians straight to the job

Through the day the office assigns your technicians tasks and mentions them in notes. The Field App's notifications now say exactly what each one is about, and a tap takes your technician straight to it.

See what each notification is about

Each notification now shows:

• the full task or event name
• who mentioned you, with a preview of their note
• the project reference, plus the event and date for a task on an event

One tap to the right place

• Events, tasks on an event and event notes open in the Field App, on the event, its tasks or its notes.
• Everything else, such as tasks on a project and mentions in project notes, is marked Opens in browser and opens the right page of the Payaca web app.
• Unassignments are marked For information only.

Mentions in project notes are in the list

When someone mentions a technician in a project note, it now appears in their Field App notifications alongside everything else.

Push notifications open the same place

Tapping a push notification for a task or a mention opens the same place as that notification in the list.

Make sure your team is on the latest version of the Field App to get this.
