Show grants on estimates and proposals

New·
Dave Timms, Lead Software Engineer

You can now add rebates and grants to your proposals. Your customers see exactly what the rebate takes off the project value, and we make sure you only invoice the customer for the amount they need to pay.

This feature is ideal for representing incentives like a utility or state rebate. If you are currently using payment summary alerts for this, you can switch over for a better customer experience.

Clearer estimates and proposals

A customer reading an estimate or proposal cares most about one number: what they will pay. If you add a rebate, they will now see:

  • the full price of the install
  • the rebate as its own named deduction (e.g. "Utility rebate")
  • the total payable, after the rebate is deducted

If the proposal has a payment schedule, the rebate shows as its own clearly labeled stage, and the customer payment stages are reduced to account for the rebate.

Profit figures you can trust

A rebate is not a discount. It changes who pays, but not your revenue. You can now have fully accurate profitability reporting, showing the true value to your business.

Get started

Ask Agent Dave to set it up. Tell it the name and amount of the rebate or grant you want to use.

Once set up, the rebate will be available to select when you build a proposal, or you can add it to a proposal template.
