More automation triggers: Change Proposals and signed Documents
Martha HearnAutomations let you run actions automatically when something happens on a Project - like sending an email, moving the Project along a pipeline, or adding a tag. We've added new trigger points in two areas.
Change Proposals
Until now, the only Change Proposal trigger was when a Customer accepted one. You can now build automations that run at four more points in a Change Proposal's life:
- Created - a Change Proposal is added to a Project
- Sent - a Change Proposal goes out to the Customer, or is marked as sent
- Declined - the Customer declines a Change Proposal
- Voided - a Change Proposal is voided
The Sent trigger fires the first time a Change Proposal reaches the Customer. Re-sending the same one won't fire it again, so a follow-up automation won't run twice for the same Change Proposal.
Signed Documents
You can now trigger automations the moment a Document is signed. For example, when a Customer signs a Letter of Authority, you could tag the Project, move it to the next pipeline stage, or notify your team.
The trigger fires each time a signature is added.
