Agent Dave can now create events for you

Following on from Dave learning to search your schedule, it can now book events too.

Tell Dave what you need scheduled in plain English and it'll create the Scheduled Event for you, pulling in the right context automatically.

What can you ask?

  • "Book a 1-hour survey on the Johnson project tomorrow at 10am"
  • "Schedule a service visit for Acme Ltd next Tuesday afternoon"
  • "Put a follow-up call with the Smith project on Friday in my diary"
  • "Add an installation visit on Monday on the Williams project, assign it to Mark"

What Dave fills in for you

When you link the event to a Project or a Customer, Dave reuses the context you'd otherwise have to type out:

  • Location - the Project's site address, or the Customer's primary address
  • Contacts to notify - any access contacts at that address plus the Customer's primary contact, so the confirmation and reminder emails go to the right people
  • Assignee - defaults to you, unless you ask Dave to assign someone else

You can still ask Dave to override any of these. Permissions are respected throughout - team members only see and schedule against records they have access to.
