Glow: solar design inside Payaca

Glow is solar design built into Payaca. Pin the roof. Glow pulls high-resolution imagery, finds the roof faces and lays the panels out. Pick the kit from a full catalogue of panels, inverters and batteries, with their technical data and manufacturer datasheets attached, so the Proposal carries the right spec sheet without anyone hunting for a PDF.

An MCS compliant estimate

The estimate carries the MIS 3002 performance estimate, worked from the MCS zone, orientation and pitch of the actual roof with a shade factor per array, and the MCS battery information, with the notes those standards require. Shading is assessed automatically from the surface model, and the document states per array where it was not.

Then it stops being a design tool

The kit on the design becomes the priced Items on the Proposal. The Items on the Proposal become the materials list for the job. The materials list becomes purchase orders to your suppliers at their prices, or a draw from your own stock at real cost. The purchase orders sync to Xero. The margin on the job is live from the day it is quoted. The survey, the DNO application, the install schedule and the Service Plan sit in the same Project, and Agent Dave builds the automations between them.

A design tool gives you a roof and a PDF. This gives you the roof, the quote, the materials, the orders, the books and the job.

Flow, for heat pumps

Flow launches alongside Glow. A Customer fills in your enquiry form, Payaca pulls the EPC, runs the heat loss and sizes the heat pump and cylinder from your own appliance list, so you can send an indicative estimate before anyone books a survey. It is the fast estimate, not room by room heat loss, so your design tool still does that part.
