That's true, as far as it goes. What it doesn't tell you is what happens when your jobs aren't a one-visit boiler repair, but a six-week project that runs from survey to MCS certificate.
I've worked with installers moving off three or four different setups a year - a scheduling tool, a separate invoicing package, a spreadsheet for tracking DNO applications, a shared drive for compliance photos - because no single platform covered the whole job. Can it generate the compliance paperwork you actually need - MCS certificates, commissioning documentation - without exporting data into a separate tool to assemble it?
Does it work offline on site? Rural installs and loft surveys are exactly where signal drops out, and a tool that needs a live connection to show today's job list isn't built for the work.
What happens to the data you've already built up if you outgrow it? A tool that can't grow from a five-person team to a thirty-person one with multiple crews means you're back here again in eighteen months.
